Continuing to putter around the house, taking stock of what I have, items I don’t use, ways I can better organize my belongings. When I don’t feel like working hard, I try to make it fun. Last night I went through a binder full of pages torn from magazines I had been saving for inspiration (fashion, hair/beauty, travel, photography, home, interesting articles, etc.)–going back to about 2003! It was fun to look over what I’ve liked over the years, although overall my taste hasn’t changed much. I like a lot of the classics – stripes and trench coats, blazers and skinny jeans, retro bombshells, grainy film photographs of foreign locales. However, many of the images were sort of repetitive, or I liked them, but was not especially “inspired” by them, so those are out. Some I still love and I’m really happy I’ve kept them.
Another day I paired down my jewelry collection. I’ve also hung some of my recently framed posters.
